Our Team
I have to thank every single one of these people in keeping my horses as fit and healthy as they can be, as well as helping me achieve all my goals and aspirations. All their help and advise goes a long way in keeping my boys in tip top condition
JULIE GORDON
CHIEF
Without this amazing person I would certainly not be where I am today!
Julie has been around horses from a young age having competed herself. She brought on both Nelson and Ransom from a young age whilst I was still at school.
Nowadays her role involves being groom, lorry driver, main supporter and head sponsor!

PETE GALLON

VetMed CertEP MRCVS
Vet Liphook Equine Hospital
Pete has been treating my horses for as long as I can remember.
He played a key role in diagnosing and treating both Ransom and Finley with their injuries; as well as a rehabilitation program which has allowed them to both get back to successful competition careers.
Pete also keeps their teeth in tip top condition.
Liphook Equine Hospital has fantastic, state of the art facilities and my boys have had 5 star care every time they have had to stay.

BILL WATSON

Farrier AWCF B1
Bill has been shoeing my horses since living in West Sussex the last 7 years. He has a calm and sympathetic approach to shoeing which is adapted to their individual needs. He has had to perform remedial shoeing on Ransom, as well as correct poorly shaped feet on Finley – he has worked wonders on them all.
EMMA ROBERTS

GCC Registered chiropractor
Emma has been treating Ransom for the last 16 years. As a 4 year old he significantly damaged his pelvis and sacroiliac joint, and since has needed 3 monthly treatments (more frequent if necessary) She has recently started treating Finley to keep them both on top form whilst competing.
Emma offers a wide range of treatments, and is extremely thorough in her examination and treatment.
Not only does she treat horses; Emma also treats riders to help correct any straightness issues!

ROBBIE CARPENTER

Dressage Trainer
Robbie is based at Belmoredean in Maplehurst, West Sussex. He has been my dressage trainer for the last few years and I owe so much to him for both mine and Ransom’s progression in pure Dressage.
We were competing at Elementary level when he met us and haven’t looked back since. He has completely changed Ransom’s way of going, my approach to riding him; and now we have reached Advanced level in dressage heading towards PSG.
Robbie is a very honest instructor who knows how to bring out the best in a horse/rider combination. He ensures that you understand the basics of riding; and how to get the correct feel and response in the more technical movements.
Needless to say Finley has also started training with Robbie to ensure we get the best possible marks in our eventing tests.

CAROLINE JEANNE

Jumping Coach
BE Accredited Coach with UKCC level 3 qualification.
I have been training with Caroline since the Summer of 2016. I have well and truly found my jumping mojo again and this is all thanks to her.
My technique was quite ‘off’ as I had not jumped competitively for many years. She has worked wonders with my confidence and this is noticeable in both mine and Finley’s performance at competitions.
I will continue to train with Caroline whilst progressing through our eventing season.
SUE SLADE

Master Saddler
Sue has provided every single saddle that my three boys have.
She has been my saddler for the past twenty years, and a lot of time and effort has gone into finding the best saddles to suit them.
This takes into consideration their shape, movement and comfort. Ransom has a WOW Dressage saddle and WOW jumping saddle as they best accomodate his large shoulders.
Finley has both the Vinici Dressage and Close Contact Jumping saddles by Black Country; as these were the best fit for his narrow frame.
